Spiced Tea
Combine 3 cups loose orange pekoe tea, 1/4 c. shredded orange peel, 4 inch stick cinnamon, coarsely crushed, 1 tablespoon finely chopped candied ginger and 2 teaspoons whole cloves, coarsely crushed. Heat, covered, in 300 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Spoon into jar with tight-fitting lid. Seal. Store in cool place at least one week. To prepare tea, use 1 to 2 teaspoons mixture for each 6 cups boiling water; let steep 2 to 3 minutes. Makes 3 cups tea mixture.
