moments

I am reminded, as this holiday season is upon us, that our lives are so beautifully complex & busy. But in this season (& throughout the rest of the year, too!), God presents us with moments in time, little things that we can create memories from, special seemingly insignificant minutes & fleeting seconds where beauty occurs. It snows, the kids are peaceful, the house is quiet & everyone is asleep, the stars are all shining brightly, your children are jumping in a mud puddle & giggling. Whatever those moments are, set everything down, get up from the TV or the computer, put away the cell phone & live those moments. As time passes, these are the moments that you will look back on & remember with wistful appreciation. Time moves too quickly to let a memory-making moment pass unaware.

Great post! Reminds me of our dinner last night. We had a great time laughing at silly stuff. I will make an entry on it later to share!

Tell me about it! Yesterday, you were that little girl, playing in a mud puddle and I was the mama trying to get you clean to bring you in the house. Or was it last week? Mom

Before motherhood, this post wouldn't have meant so much, to me.Now, everything has changed. I am shocked at how quickly the moment come and go.
