Sarah got baptised this morning! It was a great day. We had family & friends there and we all went to eat lunch afterward. I'm so honored to be Sarah's mommy. She did a great today during the baptism and was so "big" afterward, wanting to get dressed & brush her hair & go out to sit in "big church" with the rest of us. I love this baby girl!!
Larry had the privelege of baptising her. In this first picture, he was introducing her to the crowd. The church is out in front of him (to the right side of the picture) & he had to lift her up so they could see her. Cute!
In this one, he was asking her if she loves Jesus & if she had asked Him into her heart while he got her hands positioned to cover her nose.
And splash! Here is the big moment!
When they got out of the baptistry & went out the other side, I had to go up the steps behind the "tub" & go to meet them on the other side to take Sarah to the dressing room. It was so sweet to come around the corner & see Larry having a sweet little 'moment' with Sarah, telling her that he was proud of her & giving her a big hug. I wish I had gotten a picture of that!
